Josh Schaub has over 15 years of experience in professional sports as a minor league team owner, a scout, an executive, and a Commissioner of two different professional sports. Josh is currently the Commissioner of the American Association of Professional Baseball, founder of Da Beauty League (summer professional hockey), a professor of Sports Law at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and an advisor to a number of sports tech accelerators. Josh also represents numerous sports tech companies as a practicing attorney.
Natara Holloway Branch is a 20-year strategic management professional with a strong accounting and audit foundation. Her roles have progressed beyond the financial function into management of strategic priorities and key business lines within the sports and entertainment industry. Natara has award winning expertise in strategic partnerships, business development, marketing and social campaigns. Natara has served as the VP of Business Operations and Strategy with the NFL with a focus on emerging sports innovation and was recently appointed to the Board of Super Group (SGHC) Limited (NYSE: SGHC) the parent company of Betway. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Bauer School of Business and has served on the overall University of Houston Sports Task Force.
Trevor Purvis is the Senior Manager of Ticket Technology & Solutions for the Houston Astros. He manages the day to day operations, while focusing on ticket system and MLB Ballpark app integrations with a centralized focus on customer experience while driving revenue. Trevor directed the Houston Astros transition and league-wide leading adoption of digital ticket entry from 8% (2015) to 91% (2021) while identifying and developing effective consumer messaging, web assets, and artificial intelligence functionality to optimize communication impact both internally and fan-facing. Trevor focuses on researching, integrating, and developing third party vendor solutions to solve internal service problems leading to the improvement of functionality and improvement of the customers online and game day experiences.
Jenni has 12+ years of domestic and international sports management, eSports, and sports betting experience including business design, technology innovation, and partnership management at the college, professional, and federation levels.
Jay joined the Astros in July of 2012 after starting his career in strategy consulting. In his current role as VP of Business Strategy & Analytics, Jay provides data analysis and strategic planning support across business units. His favorite projects as a member of the Astros include financial modeling of the Minute Maid Park $18M center field renovation project, re-launching the PGA TOUR’s Houston Open at Memorial Park, and creating a scoring model for ticket sales leads. A native of Maine, Jay studied as an undergraduate at Tufts University earning a BA in Economics and at the MIT Sloan School of Management earning an MBA. Jay lives in Houston with his wife and 2-year-old daughter.
Rafa López has over 15 years of experience in the video industry, leading software teams in order to launch more than 100+ apps for OTT Services for world class Sports events like FIFA World Cup, MLB, LaLiga, FoxSports, among several others. He is the co-founder of SmartboxTV and Nunchee, one of the leading OTT companies in LATAM, with clients in more than 10+ countries. Acquired by FzSports and 777 Partners in 2020. Rafa is currently leading Product & Tech in FZSports, a global technology company that connects sports fans with the content they love.
